Anna Rejzer of Union City passed away on April 9, 2018 at age 96. She was born on December 9, 1921 in New Salem to Ignatius and Teresa (Sobek) Rejzer. Anna had lived in Mill Village and Cleveland, Ohio. She worked for Thompson Products for 37 years until she retired in 1982 and moved to Union City. In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her brother John Rejzer, half-brother Henry Almazon and her sisters Josephine Rejzer, Julia (Arthur) Newell, Antoinette (David) Copeland and Viola (Steve) Petko. She is survived by half-brother Edward Almazon.
Anna was the kindest and sweetest person you could hope to meet. She had a subtle sense of humor and sharp mind. She enjoyed being with all of her nieces and nephews and their families, and will be sadly missed. Her light will always shine in our hearts. Anna was a long-time member of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church in Union City.
Family and friends will be received 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 13, 2018 at the Michael S. Pandolph Funeral Home 75 North Main St. Union City. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Teresa Church on Saturday, April 14, 2018, at 11 a.m.. with Father Thomas Suppa officiating. Interment will follow in St. Teresa Cemetery, Union City. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Teresa Church, 9 Third Ave. Union City, Pa 16438.
