Leo Pfister

Leo Joseph Pfister, 96, of Union City, died September September 17, 2019, at Edinboro Manor. Born February 17, 1923, in Erie, he was the son of the late Leo Christopher and Winifred (Hawk) Pfister and the husband of the late Hazel (Stroup) Pfister.

Leo retired from Union City Machine Co. and then worked at Home Depot until he was 89. He was a member of Union City city council where he sat on the zoning board. Leo was also a member of Moose Lodge 882 and American Legion Post 237.

Survivors include daughters, Loretta Pfister Soto, Marlene Pfister Morton and husband, Clair, and Connie Pfister Yaple and husband, Lawrence; a son, David Pfister; eight grandchildren; great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

An inurnment will take place on September 28, 2019, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Lisa Grant officiating.
