Allen "John" Holfelder

Allen “John” Holfelder, 91, of Union City, passed away April 5, 2018, at his residence. Born December 1, 1926, in Sewickley, he was the son of the late Richard and Agnes (Merrimen) Holfelder and the husband of the late Grace Holfelder who died October 16, 2017.

He retired from W. L. Dunn Contruction and was a member of American Legion Post 0381 in Cambridge Springs.

John is survived by daughters, Mary Struble and husband, Dave, of Silver Springs, FL, Jane Morano and husband, Tom, of Canadohta Lake, and Ruth Goetz and husband, Chuck, of Lake Panasoffkee, FL; a son, John R. Holfelder and wife, Nina, of Edinboro; 14 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will gather April 14, 2018, at 1 p.m. for a time of fellowship and remembrance at the Eureka Lodge, Union City.

The Michael S. Pandolph Funeral Home, Union City, is assisting the family with arrangements.
