Roger M. Drake

Roger M. Drake, 95, of Spartansburg, died November 15, 2018, at the Corry Manor. Born May 31, 1923, in Union City, he was the son of the late Archie and Susie (Wright) Drake and the husband of the late Rachel (Dingle) Drake.

He was the owner and operator of Drake's Grocery Store in Spartansburg for 15 years and previously for Lion's Transportation of Erie.

Survivors include daughters, Bonnie Yost and husband, John, of Union City and Susan Tomcho and husband John of Union City; a sister, Joyce Bryant of Erie; grandchildren, Tracey Soety and wife Amy, Todd Soety and wife, Cyndi, Jason Tomcho and wife Stacie, and Jamie Tomcho and wife Shelley; four great grandsons; four great granddaughters, three great great grandsons with a great great child on the way.

In addition to his beloved wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Drake.

A private visitation was held Friday at the Michael S. Pandolph Funeral Home, Union City. Interment was Saturday at Evergreen Cemetery, Union City.
