Shannon M. Sipes

Shannon M. Sipes, 38, of Corry, died September 11, 2020, at St. Vincent Hospital. Born September 28, 1981, in Corry, she was the daughter of Brian and Lisa Crawford and Doug and Tammy Sipes. She was a 2000 graduate of Corry High School and in 2010 graduated from Fortis Institute with a degree as an LPN. She did an internship at Intense Home Care. Shannon was employed by Gecac, Bayda Nurses, and Bayada Pediatrics of Erie. Shannon attended the Relevant Church in Corry and Elevate Church in Erie. The light of her life was spending time with her daughter, Madyson. Shannon enjoyed taking care of disabled children and the elderly. She loved to play casino slots, bingo, and dancing. In addition to her parents, Brian and Lisa Crawford of Deland, FL and Doug and Tammy Sipes of Moulton, AL, survivors include her beloved daughter, Madyson; siblings; Brittany Crawford and fiance, Jeremiah Prince of Edgewater, FL, Brandon Crawford and significant other, Sydney Conroy of Wattsburg, PA, Shawn Carlson of Eri, PA, Haley Shontz of Union City, PA, Tanner Shontz of Union , PA, and TaraChamberlin of Fort Myers, FL; Maternal grandmother, Mary Roth of Eri, PA andpaternal grandparents, Cary and Judy Saxman of Corry, PA; a nephew, Mason and a niece Brylee; many aunts, uncles and cousins'. Shannon was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Jim and Betty Sipes and Butch Crawford; uncles, Chuck Sipes, Bob Myers, Brad Crawford, and Denny Moisher; aunt , Sheryl Roth. Family and friends will be received at the Relevant hurch, Corry Tuesday from 5 p.m.until 8 p.m. and Wednesday 11 a.m.-noon. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at noon. Services will be officiated by Les Utegg. For those who feel comfortable visiting with the family, wearing of masks and social distancing are recommended per COVID -19 requirements.
